CHATTANOOGA TO HOST 2016 HYPERFLITE SKYHOUNDZ WORLD CANINE DISC CHAMPIONSHIP
Crowning Event of the World’s Largest Canine Disc Competition Series
Set for September 24-25, 2016 in Coolidge Park
Chattanooga is going to the dogs…disc-catching dogs that is! From September 24-25, 10 am-6 pm, in beautiful Coolidge Park (located in Chattanooga’s North Shore recreation and entertainment district) the most talented canine athletes on planet earth will take to the skies to compete in the 2016 Hyperflite Skyhoundz World Canine Disc Championship. The Skyhoundz World Championship is the premier event in canine sports and features top teams from around the world competing in a menu of disciplines designed to showcase the talents of amazing canine athletes.
The 2016 Hyperflite Skyhoundz World Canine Disc Championship will feature more than 120 teams from the many countries that hold Qualifiers: U.S., Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Slovenia, Spain and the Netherlands. “Mutts will compete paw-to-paw with purebred canines and many of the four-legged athletes competing at the World Championship were rescued from animal shelters,” according to Peter Bloeme, Director of the Skyhoundz Series.
Admission to the World Championship is free and, for this special event, properly-leashed and supervised canines may also enjoy the action at Coolidge Park!
