made_in_usaHyperflite’s Jawz disc is the toughest and best-flying puncture-resistant competition disc ever made. The Jawz disc stands up to gnashing canine teeth better than any other canine disc.

Jawz discs feature Hyperflite’s patented low-profile grip surface on the top surface and underside of each disc allowing for secure gripping in all conditions. Even better, all Jawz discs feature Hyperflite’s X-Flash™ Anti-Glare Technology.

Although the Jawz disc is remarkably tough in normal canine play, it is not intended to be used as a chew toy.

Customer Reviews

I am buying my third Jawz disc. Lost the first. Bought a second. Going on 8 years now! We play every morning for 10 minutes! We got another Border Collie, hence the need for a second Frisbee! I have to avoid the fights over that Frisbee. Love these Frisbees! Wonderful. 🙂

P.S. My dog knows a good Frisbee…over 300 word vocab…we lost count!

The Jawz disc is like a tire company inventing a 200,000 mile tire!

The only reason I am buying another Jawz disc is because we accidentally threw it into the water. We have had this disc for 4 years and our dog was unable even dent it despite destroying every disc that came before as he has a strong bite. This disc is by far the absolute best on the market. In many ways I am glad to support it by finally buying another!

I’d like to thank you again for creating the Jawz disc. As you probably remember, Wallace is an American Pit Bull Terrier that is rock solid and has one speed — All Out. When we first started in the sport, I was having tons of fun with him, but was going through 3-5 discs in a 15-minute session. I would have gone through more but I continued to somehow throw the ones that were completely demolished to try and avoid buying dozens more. His famous move is that if the disc falls to the ground, instead of picking it up by the rim, he would just bite right through the center of the disc, taco it and bring it back in a condi- tion that was only maybe suited for rollers. Because of this, I tried the Jawz disc and have never looked back since. I still have the first Jawz disc that I started using and it is still in playable con- dition with minimal wear 5-months later. Feel free to let people know about the disc doggin’ pit bull in Minnesota that uses the Jawz discs, and that even though he’s a pit bull, the Jawz discs are still holding strong.

If I could only use 2 words to recommend this disc, I would say “Buy it.” That’s right – buy it with confidence and no worries. This is the go-to disc for almost every member of the Phoenix Area Disc Dogs. We all enjoy the amazing durability. As a matter of fact, I still have and use the Jawz I purchased for my dogs some 6 years ago. The logos have long worn off, and edges have been sanded smooth countless times, but you just can’t kill them! The only reason I buy new ones is for doing demos. People always ask what kind of discs our club uses, and it is nice to have an example for them to see. Our members also enjoy all the different colors that are available. Color may not seem like a big deal to most people, but when a bunch of us get together, we can easily identify our discs by their colors.

The Jawz discs are everything they say they are. Almost impossible to destroy, incredibly hard to damage, and I’ve had nothing but dogs with intense chewing drives.

Do not discount the X-Flash capabilities. I have Jawz discs with X-Flash and without, and I can tell you for sure that the X-Flash discs have a much higher catch rate, particularly in situations where the dog is on the performance edge… if it’s a difficult catch, the X-Flash discs are catchable where the normal Jawz discs are more hit and miss.

I’ve got driven Frisbee dogs. The selection that Skyhoundz presents is very well thought out. The SofFlite discs are stunningly nice for dogs in the depth of winter (although they get destroyed pretty quickly under normal play even in the deep cold… but a Jawz disc in zero degree weather is like a stone disc.) My dogs worry and distress the discs if they muff a catch, so I need to use the Jawz discs. The regulars are almost impossible to fly after one session, but the Jawz disc takes abuse without much impact.

The only down side of the Jawz disc is, if the dog manages to damage it in a way that creates a sharp burr, it’s very difficult to remove the burr, even with a razor knife.
