I am buying my third Jawz disc. Lost the first. Bought a second. Going on 8 years now! We play every morning for 10 minutes! We got another Border Collie, hence the need for a second Frisbee! I have to avoid the fights over that Frisbee. Love these Frisbees! Wonderful. 🙂
P.S. My dog knows a good Frisbee...over 300 word vocab...we lost count!
The Jawz discs are everything they say they are. Almost impossible to destroy, incredibly hard to damage, and I've had nothing but dogs with intense chewing drives.
Do not discount the X-Flash capabilities. I have Jawz discs with X-Flash and without, and I can tell you for sure that the X-Flash discs have a much higher catch rate, particularly in situations where the dog is on the performance edge... if it's a difficult catch, the X-Flash discs are catchable where the normal Jawz discs are more hit and miss.
I've got driven Frisbee dogs. The selection that Skyhoundz presents is very well thought out. The SofFlite discs are stunningly nice for dogs in the depth of winter (although they get destroyed pretty quickly under normal play even in the deep cold... but a Jawz disc in zero degree weather is like a stone disc.) My dogs worry and distress the discs if they muff a catch, so I need to use the Jawz discs. The regulars are almost impossible to fly after one session, but the Jawz disc takes abuse without much impact.
The only down side of the Jawz disc is, if the dog manages to damage it in a way that creates a sharp burr, it's very difficult to remove the burr, even with a razor knife.
