If you have landed here like me you are probably trying to find a disc that will last your dog longer than a few weeks (on in our case days). I have been playing with a disc and a dog for almost as long as I have had dogs and I am now the wrong side of fifty. Most dog toys of any description that say indestructible or virtually indestructible usually have an epic fail. So what dogs are we talking you may ask? Well, we have seven furry kids: two low content wolf dogs, one mid to high content wolf dog pup, and four Xolos (two Coated & naked) [Nakeds have fewer teeth but the ones they do have are very sharp]. I read all the reviews and watched the videos of GSD chewing the disc to then see them unmarked, but watching a video and then seeing it for yourself with your own destructive pooches is a different matter. These things really are tough, tougher than tough and, after a good chewing, still fly the same as when you took them out the packaging. On their inaugural flight our puppy Seven (seven of nine for you Trekies out there) decided she would prove this “new” disc did come to bits, so far she has been successful with everything, so to be honest I did not hold out much hope (not to worry we had another). We continued to play with the others while she did her utmost to chew it, eventually giving up and walking away. I retrieved the disc throwing it to my wife who caught it and said, “WOW not a mark on it!” The Xolo boys gave the other a good tug of war and again unmarked I have to say I was shocked. So, if you want a disc that will fly straight and true even after you pooch has mauled it don’t waste your $$$ on so called indestructible discs just go for this, you will not be disappointed and your dog(s) will love you as it’s hours and hours of fun.
