On shear cool points the UV is my favorite Hyperflite disc. When I got home from the 2002 Skyhoundz Hyperflite Canine Disc World Championship, I showed all of the K-10 sample discs to my two sons, ages 4 and 11. We had a really good time playing with the UV-putting half of it in the sun, putting it in the sun with our hand over the top of it, that kind of stuff. By far this was the most interesting disc to play with and we haven't even thrown it yet!

I love my Hyperflite UV Disc. It’s a little firmer than the Competition Standard, which makes it great for really long throws. The color change is nearly instantaneous and the purple and blue colors really stand out against a light sky. I also like that the UV disc changes color even on an overcast day. I’m planning to enter a long distance competition at a Hyperflite DiscDogathon in a few months, and I know the UV will give me that extra edge. Many thanks for all of your great flying discs. Your slogan -- “professional quality athletic equipment for the modern canine athlete” --  is right on the money.
