Kazan

A month ago, we had to say goodbye to our beloved lab, Kazan. At the blessed age of 14, he died on the 24th of March of a massive coronary. The day before he was still swimming with us in the pool, and the next day, at midday we found him dead in the backyard. According to the vet he died instantly, the way we always wished he would go.

We will remember him as a lifelong, loyal friend, the first competition canine flying disc dog in Belgium, who never won anything great, but enjoyed the sport so much. We will remember the way he used to be disgusted if we threw badly, which often was the case...

He enjoyed the sport untill the day he passed away, although we had to limit the throws to 3 times 10 yards...

Hilde and I grieve over our loss, but are happy he gave us so many lovely years and the fact that he did not suffer...

Kazan, enjoy your discs together with your mates at the end of the rainbow...

Peter and Hilde
